Yfaat Weiss is Professor of Jewish History at the Hebrew University in Jerusalem and Director of the „Rosenzweig Minverva Research Center for German-Jewish Literature and Cultural History.” Between 1997 and 2000 she taught Jewish History and Culture at LMU Munich, from 2000 until 2007 she was the director of the Bucerius Center for Research of Contemporary German History and Society at Haifa University. Her most recent books include "A Confiscated Memory: Wadi Salib and Haifa’s Lost Heritage" (2011) and the Hebrew-written monography "Journey and imagined Journey. Lea Goldberg in Germany, 1930-1933" (2014).
