Dissertation Topic: The German-Israeli Study Groups, the German student movement and Israel
Abstract: At the end of the 1950´s German-Israeli Study Groups (in German: Deutsch-Israelische Studiengruppen) were founded at various universities in West Germany. Members of these groups worked on different aspects of Geman-Israeli relations. The research will focus on the groups´ historical development and their impact on German society in the years 1957-1971.
